Permits are required before any work begins in the City of Greer. Homeowners should be aware that obtaining a permit is not their responsibility but that of the contractor. The City of Greer will verify that the contractor is properly licensed, insured and bonded prior to releasing permits. We will also inspect the work for compliance with the adopted codes.
