Event Vendor Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in vending opportunities. The City of Greer hosts a variety of festivals and events throughout the year in which we select vendors. The City of Greer is dedicated to the support of local vendors who offer local products and services.

The City of Greer requires that all participating vendors, especially food vendors, present themselves in a professional manner. The appearance of a vendor's booth and the uniqueness of their menu and or offerings are crucial factors considered by the event committee during the selection process. The committee carefully reviews all applications. In instances of duplicate items, the grading criteria include food authenticity, the level of innovation in products and menu items, City of Greer affiliation, booth appearance, and the value of products and services offered.

Please note that direct sales or MLM (multi-level marketing) companies are not eligible for participation as vendors at our events. We prioritize vendors who represent specific industries, organizations, companies, or non-profits related to the event theme.

To be eligible for any City of Greer Events,  vendors must have the following.

Food Vendors must have the following.

  • City of Greer Business License - Fill out the Business License Information Sheet and submit to at greerbloffice@cityofgreer.org

  • SC DHEC Permit - To better serve our community, the City of Greer requires all food vendors must operate in accordance with SC DHEC Regulation 61-25. For more information, please call the Environmental Health Manager at 864-372-3099. -

  • Mobile Food Vendor Permit - All food trucks must meet the 2018 International Fire Code section 319 and must be inspected yearly by City of Greer officials. - Food Trucks Only

  • Liability Insurance - Must list the City of Greer as an additional insured for the event date. Coverage must be at least $1,000,000 general aggregate and $500,000 each occurrence.

  • South Carolina Retail License - This can be found at https://dor.sc.gov/tax/registration.

  • SLED Catch Background Check
