Courtney is so excited to be a part of the 2024 season of Greer Idol! She is a Mauldin, SC native and has been singing for 27 years. She enjoys singing every genre of music, but country and gospel music is what she was raised on. Some of Courtney’s accomplishments in music include: she was on season 19 (2021) of American Idol, permanent cast member of Renfro Valley Entertainment Center, she has been involved in various shows with Vince Gill, Lorrie Morgan, T Graham Brown, and many others. She also loves to do theater and is currently a worship leader at her Church. Music is Courtney’s passion and she is so excited to share her love for music with everyone on the Greer Idol stage! In Courtney’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her 8 year old son, Bryson.

Mandy has enjoyed singing her whole life! Growing up in a musical family, she learned to harmonize and play instruments from a young age. Although she never had formal voice training, she participated in musical theater and school choir as a child and teen and helped lead music at church for many years as an adult. Mandy is a wife of 21 years, a homeschooling mom of 7 children, and a mural and landscape artist. She’s thankful to sing for Greer Idol and hopes to bring others joy and give glory to God.

Courtney was born and raised in beautiful Greenville, South Carolina. As a steward leader, She believes in giving her time to help others, leading her to the healthcare profession. Making others laugh is something she enjoys and loves to do. Waterfalls, the sky, and nature have always fascinated her. Singing has been Courtney’s passion since childhood, and she enjoys pouring her heart and soul into her sound. She grew up singing in church, around bonfires, and at karaoke. Music has always been an integral part of her life, and she will forever cherish the warmth it has provided her.

Greg has been singing since he was in college, either in theatre or singing groups. He sings actively at his church and competed in Greer Idol in 2023. He had so much fun that he decided to try again! Greg is looking forward to this opportunity with a new group of singers!

Andrea L. Sims is a native of Spartanburg S.C. and a true believer that music is food for the heart & soul. Andrea believes that pursuing dreams is a must and it’s never too late in life to make big dreams come true. Step out in faith and start a new journey of success.

Tamara has lived in the upstate of South Carolina her entire life and she teaches high school science for Greenville County. She grew up singing with her dad and uncle’s family band and has been active in church choir for most of her life. Her musical inspiration comes from 80’s rock bands like Heart, Fleetwood Mac, Styx, and The Eagles. She challenges herself through using powerful emotion in singing and is a sucker for great harmony. In addition, Tamara loves Broadway musicals, and while she’s never performed on a musical theater stage, she loves singing famous odes during karaoke. When she’s not singing or teaching, she enjoys photography, attending sporting events, and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Royal has been singing since was she was about 8 years old, starting at church and in school, and as she’s gotten older at karaoke nights and has had lots of fun. She enjoys making others around her laugh and smile. She has an amazing son who she adores and who keeps her motivated. Outside of singing, she’s also a hairstylist , barber and makeup artist that loves to make people feel and look good! She’s super excited to see what Greer idol has in store for her !

Landon is a huge music lover and avid karaoke enthusiast. He grew up singing in church and in school, but over the past year he has been putting himself out there more by doing karaoke at different places throughout the upstate and surrounding areas. He started doing karaoke to get honest unfiltered opinions from strangers to see if he actually sounded good and he’s gotten some really great and supportive responses. Landon’s musical influences include Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Brian McKnight, Whitney Houston, Toni Braxton, and Patti LaBelle to name a few. It's taken him a while to get where he is, but he’s now ready to see where his voice can take him.

Aiza (eye-ZA) is from Greer. This is her first time singing in a competition. She grew up gathering with family and friends singing karaoke all her life and she always wanted to bring her voice to stage because her family has always supported and encouraged her to share her voice. And now she is here to do her best!

Carolena is seventeen years old and this is her first time competing in Greer Idol! She’s been singing since she was seven and ever since then, it’s been her favorite thing to do. She couldn’t be more excited to compete!

Bailey has loved singing since she was a baby. She has helped sing in the children’s choir at church and enjoys singing carols for the neighbors around Christmas time with her family and if she has a free minute, you’re sure to catch her singing something! Greer idol Jr. will be Bailey’s first time singing in a large public setting and she’s so excited to join in the fun!

By the time Ivanna was two years old, she was taking dance classes and singing anywhere and everywhere she could. She brought her singing and dancing skills with her to America when she immigrated from Honduras and kept putting in more work with personal classes. By the time she was in 4th grade she had done concert performances at the Peace Center and at Furman University. Each year since then she has performed her dances on stage. Greer Idol Jr is the first time that she will showcase her voice on stage.

Lauren is thrilled to join Greer Idol 2024! With her passion for singing and performing, she's ready to showcase her talent and connect with others who share her love for music. Get ready to be wowed by Lauren's captivating performances and powerful voice!

NJ loves performing arts! Some of her favorites include singing, drums, bass, piano, and acting. She is also talented at Rubik's cube speed solving, gymnastics, parkour, aerial silks, and writing.

Sophie is so excited to take part in Greer Idol! She loves performing! She has taken part in many musicals around the Upstate with SC Children’s Theater, Milltown Players and Wildcat Players. She has been taking vocal lessons with BHA Voice Studio for the past four years and also enjoys studying dance and drama. When she’s not performing, she loves spending time with her family and friends.

Zoie's a singer-songwriter who pours her heart into music. Inspired by overcoming bullying and other obstacles in life, she loves to sing empowering anthems to remind anyone who's ever felt alone that they are loved and can find healing through music, just as she has done!

Job enjoys singing and is a part of the marching band at his school where he plays trumpet. He is also in the choir at his school. He enjoys spending time outdoors singing and He is very excited to participate in Greer Idol Jr.

Niamh is so excited to be a part of Greer Idol Jr. She loves to Sing, dance, play piano, and is involved in community theater. She enjoys spending her free time with her friends, family, Girl Scouts and all her animals.

One of Tessa’s favorite things to do is sing. Through out elementary and middle school she has had the privilege to sing in many different choirs. Just recently, she went to Orlando with her school choir. They had so much fun and when it came to the competition, they nailed it. Tessa sung the national anthem at two hockey games, then was invited to Chicora Voices, and to Spring Sing which really helped her with the way she now sings. She is very grateful to be able to use her voice in her singing career and hopes that she can continue.
